In this booklet, I share timeless lessons from four remarkable creatures—Ants, Coneys (Badgers), Locusts, and Spiders—as mentioned in Proverbs 30:25-2
THE WAY OF SALVATION.
Act 16:17. The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, these men are the servants of the most high God, which show unto us the way of salvation.
John 14:1. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2. In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.
This promise is our greatest hope and it brightens our path to perceiver in our journey with Christ to the end. But to go with Jesus in heaven and own a mansion for ourselves we need to strictly adhere to all the specific requirements given to us by God in His word.
Isaiah 26:2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.
Psalms 118:19. Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, [and] I will praise the LORD: 20. This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.
Mathew 7:21. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mark 10:17. And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
According to; Isaiah 26:2. What is truth?
According to; Psalms 118:19. What is righteousness? What did the sinners do to be righteous?
According to; Mathew 7:21. What is thy (God`s) will?
According to; Mark 10:17. What Shall I Do That I May Inherit Eternal Life?
What is Truth?
· John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
· Psalms 119:142 Thy righteousness [is] an everlasting righteousness, and thy law [is] the truth.
· Psalms 119:151. Thou [art] near, O LORD; and all thy commandments [are] truth.
· John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
According to the scriptures provided above, three definitions of TRUTH is frankly disclosed to view as;
1. Thy (God`s) word or Bible is the written truth.
2. Jesus is the living truth,
3. thy law [is] the truth.
These scriptures are undeniable facts, trustworthy and reliable sources that defines the TRUTH.
1. Thy (God`s) word or Bible is the written truth.
Thy word or God`s word is the Bible; both old and New Testament, for it contains all the known will of God; ‘’All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:’’ 2 Timothy 3:16.
No part of the word is to be left out, all from Genesis to Revelation, is to be regarded as God`s sacred word for the bible itself defined it as the word of truth and with reference to Isaiah 26:2 humanity is indebted to obey all its requirements in order to be saved in the Kingdom of God.
Sad fact: Some, not all Christian denominations have concluded that they will no longer used the Old Testament and some said revelation and Daniel is a closed book but it contains the word of truth and we are required to read, understand, and obey it that we may be save.
2. thy law [is] the truth.
Proverbs 4:2 For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.
1 John 2: 4. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
What is righteousness?
· Psalms 119:172 My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments [are] righteousness.
· Philippians 3:6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
· Isaiah 42:21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make [it] honourable.
· Revelation 22: 14. Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
What is thy (God`s) will?
· Psalms 40: 8. I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law [is] within my heart.
· Mathew 7: 21. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Iniquity is sin.
And sin is the transgression of the Law: 1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
To “doeth the will of God” is to keep His law (PS 40:8)
What Shall I Do That I May Inherit Eternal Life?
Mark 10:17. And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? 18. And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God. 19. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
These underlined and bolded phrases are also found in the ten commandments:
Exodus 20: 3. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth: 5. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me; 6. And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. 7. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. 8. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:10. But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates: 11. For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. 12. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
13. Thou shalt not kill.
14. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
15. Thou shalt not steal.
16. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
17. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that [is] thy neighbour's.
Note: Jesus told the young rich ruler to keep the Ten Commandments that he may inherit eternal life.
And this commandments or law was written with the finger of God:
· Exodus 31: 18. And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
THEREFORE;
· Revelation 22: 14. Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
· Psalms 119:126 [It is] time for [thee], LORD, to work: [for] they have made void thy law.
· Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
· Proverbs 6:23 For the commandment [is] a lamp; and the law [is] light; and reproofs of instruction [are] the way of life:
· Isaiah 42:21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make [it] honourable.
· Psalm 119:165— “Great peace have they which love Thy law: and nothing shall offend them” (also Isaiah 48:18).
· Proverbs 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer [shall be] abomination.
Many religious teachers assert that Christ by His death abolished the law, and men are henceforth free from its requirements. There are some who represent it as a grievous yoke, and in contrast to the bondage of the law they present the liberty to be enjoyed under the gospel. But not so did prophets and apostles regard the holy law of God. The claim that Christ by His death abolished His Father’s law is without foundation. Had it been possible for the law to be changed or set aside, then Christ need not have died to save man from the penalty of sin. The death of Christ, so far from abolishing the law, proves that it is immutable. The Son of God came to ‘magnify the law, and make it honourable’ (Isaiah 42:21). He said: ‘Think not that I am come to destroy the law’; ‘till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law’ (Matthew 5;17, 18). And concerning Himself He declares: ‘I delight to do Thy will, O my God: yea, Thy law is within My heart’ (Psalm 40:8). The law of God, from its very nature, is unchangeable. It is a revelation of the will and the character of its Author.
